I did not know they sere discontinued. Plenty of the G10 versions out there & I assumed the rubber overmold was still in production. I'll buy all I see--they'll trade great in a year or so.

Another thought, I'd take the 14200 over the 420 any day.

Hey, Tb, I can see your point about red-heads--I guess , especially if they have big....um, eyes.

But you are way off about the 615.

It's only the greatest knife, ever.

615 is The Boss.

A red head packing an 14205. That’s what I’m talking bout. Or a zany red head packing nothing…oh yea. Heck, she can pack a 610, 615. It all ends up with a boat load of trouble. I’m cool with that.

14205 for me. Just a ballzier knife

Not since 1989...or so...I forget.

I don't like the 520 handle due to the carrot grater surface, but I like the 522 handle a lot. My hands are wide, and I like room to move around, so I prefer the lack of finger cutouts and such on the 522.

I'm not sayin' the 14200 isn't an amazing knife, 'cuz they definately are...just not my personal favorite.
