Just thot this'd be a good place to discuss how I'd take the 14200 over a 615 any day.

When I got my 14200 and flicked 'er open it just came to me like that: "This is better than my 615."

Both are purdy big and fat. Both feel like brick turd houses.

14200 has sweeter Snody grinds, better grip, equally great ergos, and a studier pocket clip.

Seems crazy that the 14200 is not near as popular as the Ruk.

So what about you--14200 or 615?

Well, since you asked, and I've said this before, but I'll go with the 14205. It's just as tough--if not tougher--than a 615. It certainly has a beefier/thicker blade. And with it's finger choil and thumb jimping, it has better ergos than a 615, imho. HK-Knives Cool

Where's Doc Pringles? He loves his HK-Knives too.

I'm always surprised that the 14205 doesn't get more attention.

+2..love the HK line of knives.Especially the 14200.I don't have the 205 yet.I like the alum. bolster on the 200.It gives it a cooler look. It's probably the price that makes the 615 more popular..Since it cost more it's gotta be a better knife.Right?...I don't think so..

Hey, I’m here!!! Smiler
I am a certified HK Snody nut.
I have a 14205, 14210 and 14255.

The HK Axis models are the best deal in the Benchmade line-up. The smoothest action of any model they make with the best feeling G-10 around. The liners and spacers contribute to the overall look and ROCK SOLID feel of the knife. The blade is where these models really shine. It’s really one of a kind.

I would love a 14200 and I’m not a big bolster fan.

As Trailboss quotes from the movie Blazing Saddles, the Tanto 14255 just says “excuse me, while I whip this thing out.” Big Grin

Yes 14205 over the 615 gets my vote.

BTW: The 14200 has been discontinued for a few years. BRING IT BACK!!!

"Excuse me while I whip this out." ought to be the HK-Knives tagline. Big Grin

Wow...tough pick. I went with the 615 because I liked the "feel" of it better. But ultimately I settled on the 522/520 over both.

The 14205 is like a tough-talkin' red-headed woman. They ain't for everybody. But some guys--and you know who you are Razzer-- are drawn to them like moths to a flame.

I don't think there's any "maybe" about it. You either like 'em or you don't.

Cool HK-Knives
