I was carrying my Benchmade HK 14210 a couple months ago when all at once I felt it slip down into my pocket. I checkecked it out and the two outside screws from the clip had gotten lost and the clip just pivoted around on the middle screw. I emailed Benchmade and they said they'd send screws out. I never got any, so I emailed them again with no response. I emailed them again and same thing. No response. How can I get screws?! I miss carrying this knife! It's my favorite small carry knife and I am thinking of taking some screws out of a different knife that I don't carry but am not sure if they would be the same length. Anyone got ideas on how I can get some new screws?

thanks

Well they said they'd send them out, then never did. I have tried again and nothing. I don't know the size. I haven't taken out the one that is still in there.

thanks

Call them @ 800-800-7427. I get much better luck with this over emails. Ask for Customer Service and when you get over there ask for those screws.

Heck man ask for a whole replacement clip.
it comes with screws and then you will already have a back up clip for when it gets worn. Big Grin

PS
once you get the new SCREWS or Clip and SCREWS
use a drop of Blue not RED
Loc-tite.
That will keep'm where they should be.
every now and again.
your gonna need some trox wrenchs.
recomend picking up a BLUE box tool kit.
all though you could pick up a regular set at the hardware/ SEARS
need what Joe a 6, 8, and a 10 sized wrenches?

T6 for most handle and clip screws and T10 for most pivot bolts. T8 works for some older models so it's good to have a full selection. And for tools, the WIHA line is very good stuff.
