is it me or doe's that bali have two different handles. the safe handle doesn't look to have the holes countersunk as on the bite handle.

The handles are indeed different and it was puzzling as the knife is absolutely stock as the day it left the factory. I sent a pic and an email to Matt Cook and he said some did come that way. It is also indeed a 68 as it has the hidden pins which are completely unmolested. Weird yes, but maybe a training device for a noob who can't remember the safe handle! Big Grin

Please check your facts before posting in someone's for sale thread.

- A late model 42 handle wouldn't even work on a PCC68. DIFFERENT SIZES!
- The pins on a 68 look exactly like this. Check photos below.
- You can't just "buff" down the pins as it would ruin the integrity

Here is another PCC68 - notice you can indeed see the pins. Yes they do have pins.



Here is a Bali without hidden pins. Huge difference.
