Agreed Pascal, wish I could attend. Still I hope the 585 wins, it's that good.

I knew it. It's going to win. Name a knife this year as new and user-friendly? Not to mention value.

If I’m correct booths 1-4 prime real estate on the show floor.

Here’s a personal thought Benchmade. Those 3-5 second videos from last years Blade Show with the knife models and how they work. Try another approach this year. It was IMO not up to Benchmade Standards.

GOOD LUCK TEAM BENCHMADE. WE'RE WITH YOU!!!

I'm betting it's the 585 over the 580 because the 585 was in production before a deadline and the 580 wasn't.

And I bet it wins.

Booths 1-4 are right at the door as you come in. In fact, they're on the left side of the door and since that's the 'larger' side of the hall (door isn't centered) most folks turn that way.

Those were curtousy of a company called Invodo at the Outdoor Retailer show. I don't believe e've done any product videos at Blade.

Good answer, Benchmade!

So anyways, I'll ask my question again... Anyone know what the other two nominations were?

And since its Sunday... Did the 585 end up winning?

Thanks Chang, but no I was wondering what the 585 was up against... It was selected as one of 3 knives for the Knife of the Year award, I just wanted to know what its competition was... and if it won.
