And more m390 - would be nice to see that as an optional upgrade for all models and releasing more and more of them could be a first step towards that! Smiler

If this beauty had a small clip like the 77X models I'd get one in a heartbeat.

Nice looking thing, but I read comments about "No-clip I'll pass". I agree, as I don't like dropping anything in my pocket...I've lost stuff that way...

But this comes with the leather clip case and it's a pretty small knife. Does the case fall apart or are there problems with it?

Just curious, I haven't owned one of these knives before with that setup.

Hello,

This is my first post on this forum. I have been looking around here for a few days now. I have a small Spyderco collection and have been looking to expand it with the addition of some Benchmades.

The 480-1 Shoki really caught my eye as soon as I saw it. Believe it or not I actually prefer no clips, and the CF with the blue liners look amazing.

Any guess on its release date? I am really unfamiliar with the time that it usually takes from Benchmade to announce it to when knives are available.

Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum Sasquatch.

This 480-1 is a nice knife and reasonably priced for it's class from Benchmade. I don't have an exact date, but Benchmade typically releases info on their new knives after the Vegas SHOT Show at the end of January.

There's a very good online store many of us love called *Please don't advertise dealers in open post. Thank you.*, since we're supposed to be polite and not directly introduce links to vendors here.

I'll get you a PM with more info on that site.
