HuntersNetworks.com says that the only thing that could happen is a friend request or a welcome message, or see if you are interested in a hunt after being registered, but that there network is monitored and therefore they do not participate in unsolicited spamming. It appears it could be coincidence. Who are the spam emails comimg from?

I think that anyone with any sense would realize that Benchmade is not responsible for the Spam or unsolicited email of HuntersNetworks.com. I see that BKC advertises with them and as a promotion gives away a knife with them. No problem. The issue is that HuntersNetworks.com privacy policy and unsolicited email policy are subject to change at any time for any reason. Or selling email addresses to outside interests is always possible and HuntersNetworks.com would still not be sending you any (unsolicited) mail. I did not enter the contest for these reasons and am unable to tell you where the email comes from. However, Spam can come from a new server every day and therefor not be traceable to HuntersNetworks.com. Common sense applies when giving out personal information. Knife_junky told me that the info to sign up was minimal. He also received a large number of Spam after entering the contest. I’ll let knife_junky speak for himself. (Is it too late for that?) Sorry kj Benchmade Moderator, Thanks for looking into that right away. Ummmm do I call you Benchmade Moderator? Mr Moderator? Master of the Domain? Seriously thanks. Steve
