IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT



Hi everyone-



We are moving to a new data center this month. As part of that transition, we'll be moving the servers for your Eve Community site this Monday, June 7th.



Your site will be unavailable for up to four hours, within a maintenance window that will start at 2 PM Pacific Time on June 7th and end at midnight that night. Because we are moving so many servers, we cannot tell you exactly when your 4-hour downtime will begin that day, but it will occur during that time period (2 PM to midnight).

I've had to move servers before and if it's the same as we had to do, it's the same log in. It could be because the site has grown and needs more capability or it can be an upgrade (such as the new imbedded vids and such). I'm really excited to see the new changes!! Do we have a preview to see?

I believe this is for moving servers only and the minor upgrade had already been done (I see embedded video option in full reply function).

Nothing will be noticed I'm sure. The login will stay the same, etc. There may be some downtime still however...

I just got notification that due to technical issues (probably in setting and preparing for the move) the server data center move has been cancelled and may be reassigned to next weekend.

I will update when I hear.

This is rescheduled to June 12th at 4pm PST. There could be up to 8 hours of down time, but they are shooting for much less than that.
