It is with sad hearts that we share the news of Pete (Ouch) Conway's passing Tuesday evening. His knowledge and passion for Bali-Songs in particular and all knives in general was amazing. Pete's friendship was special to us and to all the Benchmade staff that had the priviledge of knowing him. May he rest in peace and his memory be for a blessing.

Les and Roberta DeAsis

I am very saddened to hear that. Frowner I was just thinking about him the other night, wondering how he was doing since I haven't seen him on the forums.
I personally mourn his passing as he was always willing to lend his knowledge and help people out whenever he had the chance.

My condolences to his family. He will be missed by many of us.

I just got the news myself. Pete's been a longtime family friend. He was the definition of honor embodied. I'll be luck to ever know anyone else quite like Pete.

Rest in peace, amigo.

Professor.

P.S.

Les and Roberta,

I wanted you both to know just how much you and your company meant to Pete. Firearms were Pete's love, but Benchmades, especially the older PC and BM Bali's and fixed blades alike, were his passion. He considered you both his extended family in every sense. Best to you both.

Professor.
