I am in shock. I had the pleasure of going to breakfast with him for a number of years while he lived here in Albuquerque, NM.

This is really sad. I haven;t talked to him in a while but when I did he was having fun playing Grandfather and Father-in-law.

This sucks!

This is terrible news. My fondest memory of him actually comes from time away from the forums - every time I cut myself while learning to flip I ended up saying Pete's name ("OUCH!"). A little wry smile every time as I wondered how many others had the same association after learning so much from him.
