Simple rule for happiness:

If something in a post could be taken in different ways depending on the 'tone' it was said in, always assume it was said in the friendliest one. Not only does it make your life easier, it really P's off trolls when they're trying to annoy you. Wink

It's just like the way you wish women would give you the same break and take the meaning you meant rather than the (bad) one you could have meant.

Had to chime in despite instincts to the contrary! Not aiming my comments at anyone individually, but, I agree that is amazing that we live in a country that, so far, remains free where all persons have the right to purchase and procure any given quantity of a product or commodity they choose to. However, It's greedy and obsessive to buy up stock in a product driving up the costs on folks who want to buy a knife and use it for what it is a knife! It's meant to cut things and it's a sin and a damn shame to hoard away a good knife especially one made is such premium blade steel. Every fine knife has a soul or spirit if you will endowed in the knife byit's craftsman. To keep them locked away in a safe is akin to slavery! Set them free by allowing other good folks to give them areal home clipped tho their pocket every day!

Akin to slavery? Wow that seems just a bit extreme to me.

Also, just so you know there are plenty of 806M4s that can be found right now for retail or a little more. And considering you're getting a soul/spirit with that knife as well, well that's just a steal.

Well, I'm trying. Here's my plan: I'm going to buy a bunch of them since they are still available. Then I'll let them have their own little AFCK Woodstock where they can be free to fly their freak flag, engage in knife freelove or whatever, and, you know, let it all hang out man.

I thought they were made on a CNC milling machine?? Big Grin

Knife collecting is like liberalism, both are mental disorders that require professional help!

The preface to my statement haunts me

I was a little off the mark. Just advocating for the knives themselves rather than an indictment against those who collect them. Many want them, wish BM offered more utilitarian models in high speed steels, or at least produced a larger run of LE models. I always regret tossing my ill-informed opinions out there, too often it offends people I genuinely like and admire, or don't even know yet. So you go Lord Jim! I hope you carve the hell out of the dance floor at your BM Woodstock and fly high on wings of CPM M4 Razzer
