Way out of my price range but absolutely beautiful.. Hopefully the 551-101 isn't the only cheaper gold class available this year.

$1000!! Eeker Must be a typo, they meant platinum scales on titanium liners, solid gold barrel spacers and a 2 karat diamond thumb stud!!

Benchmade must really think we're going to dig M390 this year. I had never heard about M390 steel before the 755 MPR was revealed.

The price is just totally insane. And they did away with the best part of the 73X series, the nice way the beefy handles contoured to the hand. Seriously, a 73X with 96X handles and anodized titanium and they want $1000? Just another sign of how out of it BM can be at times. They should have just remade the 730CFHS and sold it for $350 and everyone would be happier.

Maybe BM just doesn't peek out its window enough to know what $1000 buys you in the knife world these days. Let's see . . . how about a custom hand-made piece by one of the world's leading makers? Hmmmm . . . work of art . . . production knife . . . one-of-a-kind masterpiece . . . glorified 73X/96X hybrid . . . What are they smokin'?!
