FYI - I just called up there to ask...I've got my stripped and polished 710D2 blade for example, they said for $7 plus $5 return shipping ($12) plus shipping up there they will redo the laser logo and text.

Caveat: as long as the blade's the original to the model they will provide the service, WILL NOT if the blade's from another source, like a custom damascus blade, for example.

Dunno, for $30 plus shipping costs they'd put a new replacement in...but just wanted to let y'all know.

That's good info, Joe. Some blades, like an M2, M4 or even an 806 D2 blade you would want to keep, so being able to send it to them along with $12 is a bargain. I tried to get them to replace one of my M2 710 blades with an M4 and all they would do is sell me a D2 blade...so being able to keep the M2 plus the new logo is worth it to me.

I think it would even be a bargain on one of my 551 D2 blades that I removed the coating on.

How much would they charge to write "Fastjan is a stud!"? Smiler
