Well that sucks! I'm am not happy with that at all! There was a lot of information in that area of open chit-chat. I stayed out of the political area. I guess I can go to other forums and chit-chat! You took away all the Great pictures, beer talk, Happy Birthday's and even the thread about death's in the family. These are all important to me an kept me going sometimes. Now we have no way to display forum comraderie! You might just pack that crap up and burn it!!!!!!!!!!! That is what it felt like you did. Thanks

I understand your position and Benchmades but a few bad eggs should not be allowed to spoil every ones fun...

*edit* This has been my favorite and most-often-checked website over the last 18 months. I hope/wish it remains that way, but cutting the Chit-Chat section really eliminates any sort of camaraderie amongst the regulars here. I, too, am sorry that it had to resort to this. In addition, I hope that those who brought it about know it was them and hope they feel some sense of shame for it. It may be a simple forum to some, but for many of us, it's an online home.

Carson there was some very nasty things being said that should not have been and that is why we are where we are now, the question is how can we if at all recover it and keep it clean..

Please every body lets just try to pull together as a community and recover this, I am sure that we can at least put in an effort to do so and show Benchmade that we can act like adults...

My life is so full of changes, why not just add another to the total...?

I am sorry it had to resort to this Jason...we may gain a few or lose some from this decision but it's yours to manage as you see fit.

I don't like it, because there was, outside of the bickering, a lot of good stuff about our lives AND knives.

Personally, I choose to stick around, FWIW. The Forum may come and go, but never my Benchmades.

That sucks.

While I respect Benchmade's wishes as this board is their property to do with as they wish, I would respect them even more if they told the whiners to exercise their freedom to not visit the sub-forums that they found offensive.

Some people are all for free speech as long as it's speech with which they agree.
