Not too surprised, given that another manufacturer-sponsored forum I go to has had this policy for awhile. That said, it's nice to have an area to talk about unrelated stuff. Hopefully a bit of that can leak into the other forums to maintain a sense of community here. =) From the TOS:

ROFLMAO, its about time. Who would have thought that this forum wouldn't make a good soapbox to preach about extreme liberal views. The term "Dont $hit where you eat" comes to mind. What was the complaint that got it shut down? Anyone know? People today get offended way to easy. This political correctness stuff is a joke. My opinion is that if you get offended by what was being said in a knife forum, then you should own a knife at all. You might cut your finger and get a boo boo.....I say open the forum back up and seperate the men from the boys. Start a new chat room called " powder puffs" for the more sensitive people | |||

What happened? Benchmade got hundreds of complaints about the professional trolls that have thousands of posts on here. They ran this forum into the ground while you all stood around and watched. They will move onto other forums and the people that were here for the knives will get screwed. | |||

Yeah, Blueram, what happened? I've followed this forum for a month or so and I've never noticed anything even slightly questionable, let alone offensive.  I, for one, do not want to lose this little group of friends.
