Sooo, say my...son... does something not-to-smart with his mini-Grip and breaks the blade. When I send it in for a replacement blade, can I get a different steel like D2 or s30V on my... er... his knife?  This message has been edited. Make your request.. they won't replace a sand handled knife with S30V unless you are sending in an NRA knife.. and I think Cabelas or somebody had the market locked down on D2 and some other handle color. If the grips are black or some other standard color, you should be able to get whatever steel you need provided you add the $25/$35 replacement fee ($35 for black-coated blades). -----=====-----=====-----=====----- KnifeRights Member | |||

Nah, it's just a normal black-handled mini-Grip. Good to know it's not a lost cause to get upgraded steel without buying a new knife. I second the motion on having more models with a custom option, ESPECIALLY carbon fiber handles..that would be GREAT! Better yet, offer some of the classic models as a custom option, WOW!!! 550, 580, 610, 630, 740, 741, 950 | |||

I just ordered me a full size OD Green with the black sheepsfoot plain edge with thumb hole blade and I did black liner black screws black axis lock and of course black split arrow clip. I love that Benchmade offers customizable Griptillian's and can't wait to get it. | |||
