I was thinking about buying a Surefine pen too, but I think one of my next pens will be a Hinderer pen.

Well yes .....I got it today and for me I have to say I like the BM pen better......
The SF pen is about 3/4 of an inch longer and its a little fatter and it weighs a little more.
Its nice , dont get me wrong but I like the BM pen better. The insides are adjustable so it will hold various ink cartridges , It has a 3 sided bottom that you hang onto , its a twist to open and it writes really well with the cartridge thats in it. I like the fisher space pens better (refill) they write on wet surfaces.
It has the little round ball bearing tip , that supposeably breaks windows , no doubt if you hit it hard enough. All in all its a good pen , but I think Iam gonna give it to my wife..... yes I dont like it that much........ dj

So interesting these pens - seems everyone's jumped on the bandwagon producing them, and they're not cheap! Question is: do they write as well as regular pens or does the extra weight make it harder?

DJ, has your pen seen any rough duty? I'm curious how durable it is. I'm guessing it's built like a tank.

Thanks for the heads-up on the SF pen--saved me some $$. That is unless I see one somewhere and handle it in person. Cool

Actually .......NO .....I just got the surefire today and as far as the BM,s .....NO ,
Not as of yet .....but I do use the fisher space pen and can verify that the cartridge writes on everything .... wet or dry.
As far as the BM and SF pen caseing go there heavyduty for sure but its the ink cartridge that makes the pen ...IMHO
Your not going to break the houseing on either BM or SF pen .............. dj
