I looked at these not long ago and found them for just over $100, now everyone seems to be charging $153. It looks like Benchmade has imposed a "minimum" price on dealers, or am I wrong? Does/can anyone have these for less? Is there a better stainless steel (has to be stainless, NOT aluminum) pen for a lower price? I've seen the CountyComm pen but it doesn't seem to be as "defensive" with the blunt end. Any info is greatly appreciated!

Try knifeworks, their prices are always competitive (don't forget the coupon code at checkout)

I just received my 1100-3. It is a solid pen but the only drawback is the weight of the pen.
When I have the pen in my dress shirt, it ruins the pocket.

I have the 1100-02 also. I love the weight and it accompaines me to school on a daily basis. This 1100-04 is about 3 times as heavy as the 1100-2. I still think its an excellent pen though. Just was suprised by the weight.

This is a good reason why BM should make a lighter 1100 Ti.
