are they allowed? or do you have to put them with your luggage? it would suck to get caught with it in your pocket and have to throw away such an expensive pen.

And shepherds we shall be, For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.

Mine were on a plane with me at least dozen times. Never had a problem. Not in a pocket, but in carry on.

since even bic pens could easily stab someone, id say they would have to hard pressed to actually call it a weapon. they would have to take marketing into account, but a nice stainless Cross pen could be just as "dangerous"

yea, never really understood the whole concept or "tactical pen." is there even any acount of one being useful in this way? seems like anyone carrying a BM pen around would first be carrying around a BM knife, which would be much better for defense. what makes the pen so... helpful?

There are some areas where knives are not allowed, such as secure areas of airports and courthouses.

This would allow you to carry something that would be better than just your hands and feet. Unless, of course, you're well trained to use your hands and feet as weapons, which 99% of the population is not.

Why carry a small and ineffective weapon when they've got chairs, those poles for holding up the ropes for lines, and so many other things?

Remember, there are no weapons, just tools plus attitude. Tools are everywhere and I bring my own attitude.
