I have seen some people unhappy with the 1100-x when they get it because of how hard it is to pop the cap on and off.

Just put a small drop of lube on the ridge that the o-ring contacts and then pop it in the cap and rotate it around a few times and then it will pop on and off with ease.

I need to pick one of these Pens up.. I recently lost my Cross pen on duty and replaced with a cheapo ink pen...
