Can't comment on the new set, but the old one serves my needs just fine. But to be honest I only use it to tighten up a pivot or so and shift the odd clip.

Bits are too soft, twist all the time. Got some "pro" bits from a fastener shop and they work great. Store them in the blue box and use that solely for knives.
