"Benchmade Zombie #1" |
I just received my second pen, a black ink, black handled Aluminum version from the Cabelas set. The pen is a much darker color, a true black, unlike my other pen, which is closer to grey. Also the clip is different. It's shorter, barely extending past the cap. It's also shaped differently, very much like a standard benchmade knife clip, unlike my other one which has a gentle inward arc touching the pen in the middle of the clip. The logo on the clip is the opposite way, with the E in Benchmade near the end of the cap.
The pen pictured in the combo has the old clip, not the one I received. Also, the writing is in white on both pens I have, unlike the black pictured. Both pens are unnumbered. (the 940 from the combo is numbered) Overload_ed in Colorado Benchmade Zombie #1 |

I do have the alu pen with blue and black anod. Hi, it's not a high polish finish but it seems to look very cool. I own one of them (and the 1100-1 / 1100-2 [and soon a gold and pink one) and I really like the fact that the SS pen is heavier than the other ones. Hi, could you please post a side-to-side-picture of the two pens showing the clips? This would be great. And can you please post a pic of the numbered pen, too? Here are two pics of my first two pens. It's a bit old, because the 1100-1 got a 2nd generation clip afterwards.
