I have 2 of the original 1100 design and I love 'em. I also have the 1155, but that one doesn't even come close to 1100s. Not as a pen, not as a self defense device. At least not in my hands - it's just too damn small!

I love my 1100-2... not the color Frowner It feels great in the hand and in my pocket, front, rear, or side carpenters.

My 1100-4 came in last night and wow is it heavy... today will be the first day I carry it.

I love my blue tip 1100, and take it everywhere. You can't go wrong with a fisher space pen refill that writes so smooth and lasts close to forever. The 1st gen clip on mine is fun to twang against a wooden desk. Cool

I like the larger ones but the smaller ones suck ..... they slip out of your hand while writeing.
BM should of put some sort of rough surface or something to grip onto while holdin the pen in writeing position ......My 2 cents

I found that the tent stake/vampire killer look drew stares. I've got a first-gen Surefire now. It writes well, and is just as effective for "other" applications without being so pointy.

Anyway, my 2 cents. YMMV.
