So I have a diamond sharpener and it has been working for me but I was just curious what everyone else uses and likes. It is just one that I got for a gift from Cabela's some time ago. How do the Benchmade sharpeners work? Do they mainly only work for milder steels?
Thanks much |

Using the tri-angle sharpmaker with all three kings of rods (including diamond rods for sometimes back-beveling knives).

If you want a Benchmade class sharpener you'll have to spend about the same as you would for a Benchmade and get the EdgePro
Benchmade does make sharpeners but they're primarily field sharpeners - carbide notches that let you turn a piece of scrap into a blade or a blade into a piece of scrap. But when you're out in the field (or the sandbox) and all you've got is what's in your pockets something small that will get you a working edge is good to have. I think this post should be moved to the Knives & Rescue Tools Sections and not in the Pens & Accessories Sections.

Yeah I was wondering if I should have posted it in Knives and Rescue tools but I thought their sharpeners are classified as accessories on their website.
