I recently aquired a 610 here and I love it so much I moved my 140sbk-M2HS out the door the same week. I know for my needs the 610 will out perform the 140... but I liked the fixed blade and it has its benifits.

So what did I do? I made a "fixed" blade sheath for it! Big Grin

I am working on a folded version as well so I can have my bases covered, but I ran out of time this evening before friends came over. The sheath is made from .080" Kydex and it is snug and rattle free.

I will add a small Tek-lok to it when I get around to ordering a few more.

Whatta' think!? Kind of an unusual idea but I like it.

Looks good!
Did you think about doing a two piece kydex sheath so you can put a tek-lock for vertical carry as well?
I know you can attach the lock both ways, but the way it looks now it's more suited for horizontal carry.

How does it sit on the hip .......is it top heavy ??
Looks good though , I already know you do good work by word of mouth alone , no surprize there.

It will work with either vertical or horizontal. I don't have a Tek-Lok on hand, I only have a IWB loop. I will post up how it rides once I get one in.

DJ- I don't think it'll be too top heavy. But time will tell. I like a fixed blade to ride a bit high... but not so much as it begins to flop to the outside.

I use a really good belt and the Tek-Loks are a tight fit so they rarely move around AT ALL once clipped on.

I will get a hold of one and post up a few on the hip shots.

Thanks for the kind words.

Nice Work Drew! I really like the looks of that Kydex sheath, you really do some awesome work man! I am curious to see how well this caries, I myself like my 610 and love carrying it, it rides well if I am wearing BDU's but if I am wearing regular jeans it is almost uncomfortable.. When I normally carry it camping I just pack it in my backpack..

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I will knock out the rest the folded version later this week.

It is going to be easy to carry and it will be more likely to get clipped onto my belt when hiking.
