That came out well! I have two very minor questions / concerns: 1) As the others have asked, does it ride top heavy? I'm thinking no because of the weight of the both the sheath and the blade. 2) Is the kydex tight enough to drag on the Axis bar enough to let you unlock the blade on a draw? That's about the only real possible drawback I can see on this. Hmmmm..... if you were to wear this sheath vertical on your strong side and a 'closed' sheath horizontal on your weak side, set for cross draw you'd be all set for a working day. Go with the 'closed' sheath most of the time, then when you're actively using the knife use the 'open' sheath to keep it handier but safe and secure. Good thoughts. Without a pancake style sheath, this one has to ride a bit high to clear a Tek-Lok. Otherwise the overall size of the sheath gets as big as a small shovel! As for the axis bar, I wondered that too. It only had a chance to collapse the blade upon insertion, not the draw, as the draw tightens the axis bar over the blade. I clearanced the sheath to not bump the axis lock either way. It was a fun project, the folded sheath has a lot of real life potential. This one was primarily for showing off. *********************** -Drew Make a life not a living... | 520 | 522 |800s | 520s | 806-901 | 806sbk-CF | 710-801 | 610 | 615 | 6150 | 943 | 760 lfti | 3300 | 806 D2 | 740s | |||
