These were taken quickly. I'll see what I can do about posting any better ones later.

A few notes: The rough cuts on the G10 all smoothed out by running my finger over them, the blade came quite sharp (I'm really pleased by this), and while the blade shape resembles the Rift its quite different when compared side by side. While I like and will carry this knife, it in no way diminishes my desire for an Axis Stryker model.

Also of note is the deep-ride pocket clip using two screws. It's reversible, but mounted fairly low so the knife still sticks out a fair bit. Nothing bad, just wanted to point it out.

I took a couple more pictures while I was out this afternoon.

I had to use the glass breaker once. I already sent this knife on its way. I told an EMT buddy of mine if he wanted it when I got one in, it was his. He opened it once, opened the hook once and then went for his checkbook. Smiler

I bought two of these knives ....... gave one to a Fireman and the other to an EMT.
Both of them liked them very much.

Carson or DJ, the 915 handle looks a lot larger than the Rift in the pics. Is it a bigger knife than the Rift?

The 915 is .1" longer when closed and it's just barely shorter when open. They're very similar in size; its the angle I took the picture at that makes the Rift appear smaller. The Rift blade is actually .17" longer (3.5" 915 and 3.67" 950); sorry for the confusion.

Since this one is a tip-up carry, both blade and glass break, I wonder how it feels dragging your hand across the point when it's clipped in the pocket.

The tip isn't as sharp as a regular ball-point pen. It's pretty-well rounded off. I had it in my pocket for 2-3 hours and didn't really notice it at all; that was a concern I had as well. If you press down a finger or thumb directly on it, you can feel it, but I don't think you'll catch it on a finger while dragging your hand over it.

I liked the knife well enough to order a replacement for it when I got home the most recent call-out.
