I've got another group shot I'll post in the Open Chit-Chat forum.

Awesome pics there jwayne...you really know how to get me pumped up first thing in the morning!

You pics cause me to miss my 960-01. I still somewhat regret selling it, but I had too many of the same knife and wanted to diversify a bit. How you like the -601, it always seemed like the black sheep of the family to me.

Just on my way out the door but had to snap a quick pic of what the UPS man dropped off today...I couldn't let lasers stock photo derail the thread Big Grin

This knife feels unreal in the hand. Sorry for the crappy pic I'll try to take some better ones this weekend if I find the time/motivation. This and the gold ares were mainly responsible for the recent condensing of my collection.

(PS. I am talking about the fixed blade, the 732 is just for size comparison. This is one large knife, however not too large.)

I just acquired this in a trade. I was never thrilled about the looks and specks on this knife so I did not take it seriously. I noticed a lot of folks on BladeForums put these up for trade and I decided it was a good opportunity to get one.

I absolutely love it. The pocket clip which was one of the things I hated ends up being perfect and a must for this sword. I do not believe the blade is too thin and I like the grind as well.

Like everyone else I chuckled when I first drew the sold feeling blade and then started swinging on chandeliers and drinking rum. Ya know because with this knife in hand I turn into a swashbuckling Pirate.

DJ, I think it's just the lighting. The G-10 on the 741 does pickup the light at the right angle.

And Doc, I love this knife. Don't carry it out much due to it's size, but it's a favorite in the kitchen...slices everything beautifully.

Probably a good reason for that. The angle of the flash picked up the gray from the carpet the knife's sitting on.

Actually, gray G-10 would look pretty cool on the 741. Smiler
