I need to check the Product Photos forum more often. Wink I missed these photos of the end results of loonybin's scale painting project. Both knives look great!. Is the "military insignia blue" a Tamiya spray lacquer?

Nope. That is also Kustom Kolor acrylic urethane. The paint on the 806 acted more like an enamel when curing, but that may have been because I put it on so thick. Tamiya has a Navy Blue in their spray lacquers, though.

The paint is getting shiny/polished on the raised parts that get handled/worn the most, however it seems to be quite hard.
