The 741 is back from being laser engraved. The deal is, to earn the knife I told my oldest son that he had to kill a 6 point or larger buck this year (that means more time in the woods and less time on video games, etc). Now that he has seen it, the youngest son is telling the oldest that he is going to kill a 6 point or larger buck first and get the knife. Smiler

Here are the pictures (the Cougar is their school mascot):

Thanks.

The logo - No, its still there. I think it is just a trick of the light from the camera flash and the light colored tile underneath. I just rechecked it by pulling it out of the drawer and looking, and it looks the same on the knife as I recall it looking before I sent it off, but the laser engraving is so crisp, it may overshadow it in the light.

Thanks - I'll probably get a 2nd one eventually, and have it engraved the same way as they both will be "Cougars" in sports so the knives will mean more to them than just an average knife.

They are only 10 and 13 years old, so later I can send it back in and have their initials and the number from their primary/favorite sport in High School added to the right of the Cougar head (the oldest is strictly football, the youngest is baseball and football).

Thanks Po - and that logo would look good on a knife of yours given your location and the fact that the cougar is native to Northern California. What would be cool would be the Cougar head on one side and a bear's head on the other. Smiler

Ryan does it again, man. Nice placement and execution. The cougar line art looks just killer! Great idea with their numbers, too.
