I love the chest, I really do but, I see a huge drawback to it. Much like a jewelry box, a chest like this just makes it a snap for a thief to walk off with your entire knife collection in one fell swoop. It's very, very cool, but I'd never use one. Unless it was small enough to fit on one shelf in my safe. But that takes up a lot of room, and I don't think I have that much to spare.

That's a hecuva good point Doc...Gee, the box says Benchmade all over it...Me I use a lockable file cabinet next to my desk.

Maybe the chest can be adapted to a floor mounting? Dunno just a thought. Smiler
