I have no worries about that. Smiler Its in the pocket of my white running shorts right now. Even under running water, I can't get any color to come out. Smiler

will acetone or any other acidic solution remove it?

Looks awesome by the way, I think that was what Rukus wanted to get as a forum knife.

I've heard of people using a RIT brand dye remover to lighten a color? They used too much pink dye and came out with a hot pink. They wanted what I call Breast Cancer pink, so they lightened it with the remover. I'm not sure about these other products?

This knife looks good in black, I much prefer it to the green/teal.

Thank you!

The pivot and the screw housings are in the G10 pretty well. I just cooked them too. I boiled the G10 on low heat with a enough water to cover the pieces and a random amount of dye for 10 min. I then let it sit and stew/cool for 10 min after I shut off the heat. Thats it. I mostly just winged it. I really didn't quit believe that it'd even work. But after doing it, I'd say that if you get the G10 near the dye/water, you'd be hard pressed to NOT turn it black! Its so easy!

Looks good.

I've been carrying a couple rit dyed spydercos for quite a while. Rit is really durable, and lasts a long time on G10 and on FRN. Don't expect that no color will ever come off though, because it will. Especially if carried loose in a pocket with other things. Little specs of color eventually wear off, but it's an easy fix. Just redye it.
