I know its been seen before.. Its an oldie but a goodie.. 921 Switchback, Osborne design..

Love the blue annodized aluminum handles on this one, and the S30V wharncliffe blade.. The blade is ideal for most of my daily tasks. Add in the axis lock and a tip-up configured split arrow clip and you've got another Osborne designed winner here.

And of course probably the coolest feature on this knife, the 440C slipjoint blade on the spine of the handle... Mine is not as sharp as the main S30V blade, but I would imagine it sharpens up nicely.. Just have to get around to doing it.

This is one of my favorite Blue Class models Smiler.

Nice pictures. Whenever I look at this knife now, I just think Kulgera. Am I imagining it or does anyone else see a close resemblance?

I'm puzzled by the holes in the 440 slippie... why not s30v, why 6 little holes?

don't get me wrong, I like it, I'm just puzzled by the design.

does the slippe dig into your hand while using the main blade, I mean if you have to get a good grip?

The holes are just decorative I believe, sort like the extra ones on the Skirmishes.

I have not noticed that it digs into my hand at all, its very comfortable.. Although I don't consider this one a super hard use knife because of the lack of any substantial thumb ramp and jimping.

I hear ya on the S30V vs. 440C though... Can't have everything I suppose Big Grin.

I think the small blade is made of 440C to allow quick sharpening away from home. Any small hone would turn that sucker into a light saber in no time.
Very nice pics, Bill! Each time I look at them I feel thirsty for some reason. Weird...

Never understood why the 921 Switchback isn't more popular.

It has the size and blade shapes many "knife people" claim to want.

Great picts, btw.

Not sure why it took me so long to buy a switchback, and they are getting hard to find now.I wish they weren't discontinued yet.
