Thank for all the kind word guys.
I'm workin' on 2 more sets very similar to this one. Then I'm going to start on some for the 707 & 525. I just bought most of the machinery and/or tools that I need to make these last weekend. I set my shop up a little bit at a time each night all last week. Up until now I had to travel 1.5 hours, one way, to work on these. Frowner So, putting in just a couple of hours; really amounted to 5 hours away from home.Frowner I'm already away from the house at least 11 hours a day, 5 days a week. The weekends were the only time I could find time to work on them. So, now that the shop is in house. I'll be able to put more time in to something I really enjoy doing and at the sametime not feel too guilty about it.
More to come. Smiler

PS. No, I'm not giving up my CF Gold Grip scales or any of my Wilkins scales.
They're my users.Wink

I tried to make it slim near the front but still leave a swell near the end. Similar to the BM707 I have but bigger.

Nice work.
Did you buy the micarta or make it?

Thank DB.
I didn't make it, I picked it up locally. It's my first time working with paper micarta & I like it a lot. Though, it is a bit harder to machine out than the linen or canvas micarta and corian.
I still can't get over how light weight it is!
Yet hard.
I like that Smiler
