I'm workin' on 2 more sets very similar to this one. Then I'm going to start on some for the 707 & 525. I just bought most of the machinery and/or tools that I need to make these last weekend. I set my shop up a little bit at a time each night all last week. Up until now I had to travel 1.5 hours, one way, to work on these. So, putting in just a couple of hours; really amounted to 5 hours away from home. I'm already away from the house at least 11 hours a day, 5 days a week. The weekends were the only time I could find time to work on them. So, now that the shop is in house. I'll be able to put more time in to something I really enjoy doing and at the sametime not feel too guilty about it.

PS. No, I'm not giving up my CF Gold Grip scales or any of my Wilkins scales.

I didn't make it, I picked it up locally. It's my first time working with paper micarta & I like it a lot. Though, it is a bit harder to machine out than the linen or canvas micarta and corian.
I still can't get over how light weight it is!
