Both halves look good. So the point at the front of the recurve, before the sweep upward, that is free from touching the backspacer, when closed? Any chance you could post a side shot showing the tanto blade closed? I'm curious as to what the top spine might look like, after reduction to get the tip safely inside the liners. Thanks!

Here ya go. The blade does not seem to touch anywhere, but must be quite close to the backspacer. The tip of the blade sticks out so little it would be almost hard to show in a photo (by me). The combo has very good balance and feels great.
