Over the past few days I have been able to sneak away for some time in the garage to work on a set of CF scales for my 800s AFCK. I put just a few pics together of the progess and where it sits tonight. I need to track down some button head fasteners and put a satin finish on all the hardware. Then I may jewel the Ti liners, and or add a CF raised backspacer. This is an early model as it still has the "Balisong" logo instead of the modern BM logo, do you think I would be messing it up by stonewashing the blade? I love the look, and may go for it, but it will fade the logo for sure. What say you? rough cut scales...  rough contour of the first side, after all the holes have been drilled and countersunk.  and where she sits tonight...   and a teaser for Joe and DJ, to let them know that I haven't forgotten them   I will try to snap a few more shots when I can get some good sunlight and have the time.
