Ever wonder about the blue in the Benchmade blue boxes or where the name Morpho came from? The Morpho Didius is a huge (5 to 8 inch wingspan) butterfly from South America up into Mexico. It's the males that are the most colorful.
I don't think the photo really catches the iridescence; It's almost like blue metal foil. The other side of the wings are brown.
