I'm not a bali-flinger, but I needed to do this before I let them go. --------------------------Do Not Write Below This Line-------------------------- Read The Patriot It's Right -- It's Free http://PatriotPost.US/subscribe/ Allen Elishewitz Preservation Society Associate Member Boomerangs 'n Butterflies: An Osborne Alliance | Member #013 Kniferights.org Charter Member #169 551S, 600, 705, 705Ss, 705CFBC1HS, 705-401, 707D2-600, 710D2, 710HSs, 771, 800S, 800S-LH, 812S, 812S-LH, 814T, 910-LH, 910HSSR, 940, 943, 960BK-801, 970S, 970S-LH, 975S, 975S-LH, 12800BK-801, Bradley Alias I & II (They count, don't they?) Ever wonder about the blue in the Benchmade blue boxes or where the name Morpho came from? The Morpho Didius is a huge (5 to 8 inch wingspan) butterfly from South America up into Mexico. It's the males that are the most colorful. I don't think the photo really catches the iridescence; It's almost like blue metal foil. The other side of the wings are brown. --------------------------Do Not Write Below This Line-------------------------- Read The Patriot It's Right -- It's Free http://PatriotPost.US/subscribe/ Allen Elishewitz Preservation Society Associate Member Boomerangs 'n Butterflies: An Osborne Alliance | Member #013 Kniferights.org Charter Member #169 551S, 600, 705, 705Ss, 705CFBC1HS, 705-401, 707D2-600, 710D2, 710HSs, 771, 800S, 800S-LH, 812S, 812S-LH, 814T, 910-LH, 910HSSR, 940, 943, 960BK-801, 970S, 970S-LH, 975S, 975S-LH, 12800BK-801, Bradley Alias I & II (They count, don't they?) Makes me wonder why ........ nature has its reasons ...... Maybe camouflage from the ground up ????? Just curious about this sort of stuff ....... every animal and creature has its defenses. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contempt Prior to Investigation - Dont knock it till you,ve tried it. Des, do these ever make it as far north as Tucson? I wonder how that butterfly would look under a black light. ********************** ********************** You are the Sum of Your Actions. Knife Rights Member | |||
