88x series was discussed in another thread and I promised to post some pics. Here they are!
Sorry about the quality, my main camera is in LA, waiting for me Smiler







Custom version has a traditional Japanese chisel grind, so the part of the blade that is usually left flat by American makers is hollow ground on this one.

Very interesting set, man (as always.) What interests me the most is the similarity of blade shape, coupled with the handle/scale differences, and thumbstud locations. I remember you posted pics of that grind a while back - fascinating!
