I don't understand why someone couldn't post pics of other knives. Especially on this forum as long as the main subject in the photo is a benchmade.

I own more than 60 benchmades. My having spent my hard earned thousands on your knives should earn me the right to post what I want. Given that I understand this is a Benchmade forum and as long as I make sure that a pictures main subject is a Benchmade.

My 2 cents.

If it's any consolation to you, remember, you are welcome to post any pictures you like in the chit-chat section of the forum.

I will disagree with you there, Johno. This forum is owned by Benchmade and it's the owner of the forum who sets the rules. If rules say no non-BM pictures in in "Product Photos" sub-forum, that's what it means. Regardless of how many BM knives we have or how much money we spent (and keep spending) on Benchmades it's not our call.

Hardly new to the forum. He's been a member over a year. A good example you make.

I apologize for any confusion by this "sticky" post.

This post was to help outline more, the purpose of the board, which is to assist other enthusiasts of Benchmade, a dedicated board to Benchmade product photos.

It's not a problem at all to post comparison pictures, etc, as long as the main subject of the post is Benchmade.

The Chit-Chat section on this Benchmade forum, is a great place to discuss non-Benchmade products and photos if that is of interest.

Keeping forum boards on topic isn't always easy, and that was the purpose of this "sticky" post.

PS- Sorry for late reply, but yes, custom Benchmade's, altered Benchmades, etc, are not a problem on this board. We don't look for Warranty breakers
