Just got these off Blade Forums...here's a set of pics showing the real 14205 and a VERY good fake. It's hard to tell the difference but there ARE differences...here goes:      This oughta be fun...there's no info on where this fake came from, prolly China. 350, 520, 525, 525BK-1101, 530, 580-1102, 580 Proto, 583-1, 585-1, 710-1, 710-2, 710D2, 710HS, 722, 732, 740, 740 Proto, 741, 745, 746, 746-1201, 750, 790, 800, 800HS, 805-1101, 812, 830, 831, 835HS, 840, 845, 890, 905, 907D2, 910, 910SCG, 912D2, 913D2, 12400 Proto, 12410, 14205, 14210, 40022-100. Ganzo makes a few BM copies along with some other makers. They're not hard to find. Cheap and don't look too bad. Of course cheaper materials. | |||

That is one of the best looking copies I have seen. If they were to slap a Benchmade logo on the blade it would be difficult for the average person to tell the difference. Yep, it's a good one. I honestly don't see how this could be called a "Fake". It is not being represented as anything but what it is.... a GANZO. A blatant and outright copy.... YES. But it can't be considered a "Fake" unless it is represented as the Brand of the knife it is copying.. in my way of thinking anyway. Can't argue with logic like that It was only a matter of time for China to start making exact clones of AXIS, but the future of this notion sucks. PS IF they would start making quality scale replacements for some models they would be rather popular and more or less welcomed by the knife community, but for their production to be profitable they'd have to produce them in large quantities, there aren't enough buyers to create a market like that IMO ____________________________ Knock, knock.
