Does anybody have--or have you handled--a 13200 Backroad? It looks to me like a revised Gaucho from the old NRA line. If that's what it basically is, I wonder if you could swap blades and put the M4 Gaucho blade in this handle. Eeker Eeker You'd have a M4 blade in a handle with black G10 bolsters and winewood inserts. That would be cool. Don't know if the blades will fit though....

I have a 13200 Backroad. It is the same blade shape, same handle shape. So, yes, I see no reason why you couldn't swap the CPMm4 blade into it.

Thanks, Overload_ed. I think that'd make a sweet knife.

Changing the Winewood inserts to CF, now that would be a cool Gaucho...

I too would take CF over wood...most of the time.

Trailboss, I didn't know you had posted that the HD 13200 seems to be a Gaucho handle. I just noticed that too and posted it today somewhere else on the forum. I think you are right, and it would be fun to try a blade swap.

Great idea. I have one coming and...I'm sanding the HD logo off.

I liked the look of it, but never connected it with the Gaucho--makes sense.

Thanks for the post.
