They are as good as any other Benchmade, but I don't see myself paying MSRP for any of 'em. Shop around and I'm sure you'll find a better deal.

Welcome to the addiction Wink

The product details at h-dknives.com for each product will have "import" under the configurations in the specs area if it's produced in our off shores facility. They're all Benchmade though.

http://www.H-DKnives.com

Produced off shores are the 13220, 13300/13310BK, 13402/13412, and 13650.

Produced in Oregon City are the 13100/13150, 13150-1, 13200, 13212, 13400, 13500/13550, 13710, 13740, 13940 and 13960.

Try our dealer locator to find a dealer near you. Buying direct from Benchmade will result in MSRP rather than a Dealer's price.

I would buy just about any Benchmade knife NIB simply because I like how it looks. However, the HD and H&K lines are another story. What I mean is that I would need to handle them before I bought one.

The reason I say this is because I have handled a few in a store and just didn't like the "feel" of them. My advice is to check them out in person before committing. They just don't "feel right" to me. But they are excellent "hunnerd-dollar" knives!

The Hardtail series are excellent. Personally, I think the big Hardtail is one of the best folders Benchmade has ever produced. I think it is a better cutting tool than either the 710 or the AFCK. The only thing off-putting is the Harley Davidson branding, which is quite visible. Not that I have anything against Harley...as a motorcycle.

I also sampled one of the G-10 Pikas, and it was an excellent tool for the price too!
