Yeah, I never understood the exposed liner either. The only thing that deterred me away from an otherwise gorgeous knife. For me, I rather get the 940 over the 930. I do like the G10 however with the slim design.

I actually find the exposed liner gives a positive grip and I like it's looks.

I miss only 930-92
