Broke down and bought one to add to my collection of BM fixed blades. It was too good of a deal, I couldn't pass it up. I plan on using it, but it will probably be like the others and just be a safe queen. Smiler

After I get it I will post here, letting others know what I think of it.

So the friendly UPS man delivered a very nice b-day present today. I was going to wait to open it since it is in Feb, but I had to wait 2 weeks for my back-ordered Christmas present (a 201). Because of that my awesome wife said I could open it today.

I was very pleased to say the least when I opened the box, a 150 Marc Lee "Glory" knife. To make things better it is a first production model out of 251 knives. I personally like having First Production run knives. I am very impressed with the quality of this knife and must say that pictures do not do it justice. It is a large knife and I like the hefty feel of a large knife in my hand. I am a fairly big guy and have big hands so I like big stuff.

The knife is a lot darker tan (khaki) than what the pictures show. This is a big plus for me as I was a little leery about the more light tan the pictures displayed. The balance of the knife is right on and the handle fits my hand very nicely. With the tribute to Marc Lee on the blade it somewhat says keep me as a collector, but looking at the knife it screams "USE ME!". I like the sheath, very good quality. For tactical use I think I will stick with my 140, as this knife is a little to big IMO. The only way practical I can see to carry it would be an off hand drop leg setup. If carrying a pack, strapping on the side of my pack would be ideal, though not as easily accessible as I would like. Very good edge out of the box as the cut on my thumb proves....ooops. All in all I am very impressed with Mr. Killians design and part of the purchase price goes for a very good cause. Guess I will have to see how this nice performs now. Can't wait for the new Killian designed 172 as well.....
