I don't really want to bore y'all with a huge lengthy review, but I've been carrying the Hk 14200 for about three months now and I have to say, I'm surprised this knife doesn't get more press. I've always been a fan of the HK series of knives, in fact a Blitz was the very first knife I ever bought, so I guess it's poetic justice that I always come back to the HK line. It's just a super impressive knife, does everything I need it to, has a wicked action, carries really well, is perfectly sized and built like a tank. I really can't say it enough, if you can score a 14200, you're going to love it. -Dingo- (\_/) (x.X) (> <) Zombunneh Catch me on YouTube: www.youtube.com/PRSPl4yer Check out my Blog: WillMoonCustomKnives.blogspot.com Boomerangs 'n Butterflies: An Osborne Alliance | Member #12800

I'll agree with you Dingo; those knives are great. The whole 142XX series is a good value. (the serrated tanto's to a lesser extent probably) Nice pics and writeup -----=====-----=====-----=====----- KnifeRights Member

The HK's are great knives-- smooth, and built solid. I rebladed my 14200 CE tanto to a PE tanto, and carry it often-- _________________________ yeah, I'd take an 805M4....

I traded my 14200 to get a 14205 but wouldn't mind another. I like way the bolster looks but the '205 is lighter. Either way these are great knives. 350, 520, 525BK-1101, 530, 580-1102, 580 Proto, 583-1, 585-1, 710-1, 710-2, 710D2, 710HS, 722, 732, 740, 740 Proto, 741, 745, 746, 746-1201, 750, 790, 800, 800HS, 805-1101, 810, 812, 830, 831, 835HS, 840, 845, 890, 905, 907D2, 910, 910SCG, 912D2, 913D2, 12400 Proto, 12410, 14205, 14210, 40022-100. I handled a couple of H&Ks a bit over a year ago and didn't care for the way they "felt" in my hand. Not the size, but I thought they felt kind of "cheap," I guess. Maybe I was being too hard on them. I won't go back to the dealer where I first saw and handled them (highly overpriced jerks,) but I'm going to give them a second look at the next gun & knife show. After all, they DO have the Axis© Lock, and I am an Axis© ho' ************************************************************************ Charter Member #9 and Skullmaster °„° Lum Lunatics Brotherhood of the 420 Boomerangs 'n Butterflies: An Osborne Alliance | General, and Member #950 Pardue Pimps® #3 Jack of all Trades, and Good Enough to get Paid for All of Them. ************************************************************************ "No time for the old 'in-out,' luv - I've just come to read the meter!" -Alexander DeLarge (Prisoner Number Six Double Five Three Two One)

That's possible, Rick. Then again, it was the first time I was in that store and they were really a bunch of jerks, so I probably hurried to get out of there. It wasn't anything in particular I could name that I didn't like about them, just an impression, really. I won't let it get in the way next time. ************************************************************************ Charter Member #9 and Skullmaster °„° Lum Lunatics Brotherhood of the 420 Boomerangs 'n Butterflies: An Osborne Alliance | General, and Member #950 Pardue Pimps® #3 Jack of all Trades, and Good Enough to get Paid for All of Them. ************************************************************************ "No time for the old 'in-out,' luv - I've just come to read the meter!" -Alexander DeLarge (Prisoner Number Six Double Five Three Two One)

I carried 14200-1X G-10 scaled varients and 14205s for a couple of years, just ending recently. They are outstanding knives. Ergonomic and tough. It was a big surprise to me when they were discontinued, 'cuz I consider them up there with the 710 and 520. 581BK-1102 Hybrid, 585-1BK Mini Barrage, 587SBK-1 Mini Warn, Bradley Alias I LE, 581, 525/Bone Collector, 941BLU, 520BK/Bone Collector, 760Ti Krein Regrind, 583SBK-1 Warn Tanto, HK14210, 707-701, 140HS, 551-101 Gold Grip, 941BC, 950BK M4, 220, 30, 42, 32, 53
