Those 'Three Stooges' were richer than Rockerfeller in their time, superstars of their day.

On that Tanto Snody - I like the '210 and '205, but that one is just a strange combination of blade edges...although I'll bet that 'corner' is the sharpest portion, or at least the most dangerous...Eeker

I heard the "corner" referred as a "secondary tip" on more then one occasion.

Like Doc Pringles says, that exaggerated corner (cuz of the recurve) allows this thing to "dig in" opening boxes, cutting on a flat surface and the like. I love this blade--

My dad carries a 14210 and I've handled it extensively. It's a near perfect EDC option for both of us and I totally agree that they are under-appreciated knives.

+1 on the 14210. Great smaller knife, getting a little hard to find too.

Don't get me started on the 14210...

It is the MOST underappreciated EDC from Benchmade.

You know, in terms of specs, it is virtually the same size as a 525 or Mini Grip?

In your pocket it feels much smaller, and carries very light and easy. The ergos of the handle though are first class, you can really hold on to that thing with a full grip and cut hard.

I think it is the best small knife Benchmade ever produced...but only because I wouldn't put the 525, Mini AFCK, or 94X in that small knife category. Considering I just admitted that the 14210 is practically the same size as a 525, I'm not sure where the distinction is between a "small knife" and the 525, but it's there somewhere. Razzer

It defintiely is Steve. I've got one, and granted, I've got a 705, Ultra Presideo, and Mini Bone (on top of having had a mini presideo, and a mini grip), it's a very underated blade so far as the baby axis's go. A very good friend of mine gifted one to me, and I EDC'ed it for some time. Nice grind on it, terrific ergos, and excellent steel. For EDC, you can't go wrong with it.

In so far as the 14200 goes, I really loved them. Never had one, but I've fondled a few extensively, and it had to have been one of the smoothest axis locks I've ever handled (damn thing opened like it was on ball bearings, I swear). Plus it was nice and beefy. The rubber grip on em provided a nice cushy purchase. I'd suspect because they seem to be so blah, that folks probably didn't notice em much.

And also, with that said, I'm kinda surprised no one's ever bitched about the HK logo (I just remember that a lot of folks really had a serious bug up their butts when the HD series came into existence Wink )......I mean, what if you're a glock or Sig guy ??? Razzer

like many here I cut my Benchmade teeth on a 14205.
I bought my little brother a 14210 satin PE. as much as I love him.
it was hard for me to let that great knife go.
he's thanked me for it a couple of times over the last couple years.
feels great to give a gift that keeps on giving.
especially when it was given just for the giving. not because it was a
day on the calendar that says I should give a gift to a person.
