"Steel Snob M-4"

This is one cool MO-FO .....I was surprized when I went down to pick it up at the store.
Did I say how Heavy it is ?? which will make good for chopping stuff ...... the uncoated M-4 was awesomely sharp (very sharp)
The rubberized handle makes for a very firm hold on the knife .......No slip here.
The sheath was or is actually designed well .....granted it dont have a belt loop or nothin , but if it did have one , you,d better wear a belt or your pants are comming down Big Grin the weight is exceptional.
The reason I say the sheath was well thought out is that the tip of the blade doesnt hit the end of the sheath , so it doesnt wear on the tip of the blade Cool
When I first laid eyes on this puppy .... my mind thought SLING BLADE Big Grin ever see that movie ??
Anyway ....thats my take on a knife I dont need but sure am glad I bought ......
Its so Cool Cool Cool
Added to my thoughts here , the blade at the spine is 9/32nds thick .... which is just a hair over a quarter inch .....theres the weight .....that alone would knock someone out eassily.
I could see this thing easily chopping through small branches

Mike Stewart from BRK

Mike Stewart from Bark River Knives made a number of interesting comments about this knife in a thread I started a long time ago on the JD. As the knife was finally released and he reviewed the specs.

"$400.00 is more like what I would have to sell a knife that was .312" thick in CPM M-4.

Not cheap Stuff."
