I am new to this forum been on Knifeforums for years.I have a few early AFCK's I have rotated for carry over the years and decided to pick up a new 806-901 serrated to try out.The slight added weight of the stainless liners makes it feel a bit more study than the earlier ones, not as much handle flex.A liitle more width is nice, the Axis lock in my opinion is an upgrade of a liner lock, with limited cutting time I would have to say that m-4 is probably the best steel Benchmade has to offer. Not hard to touch up and the blade coating is very tough. This model is a keeper.I will have to pick up one more to pack away as this one will see much pocket time.Too bad this is a limited run,I think this one would be a huge success as a regular production run.

Welcome and thanks for the review. We all hoped it would be a production thing but we can't have everything I guess. Enjoy your knife.

We need a 615 LE with carbon fiber scales.
Could we also get a 630 with an axis lock?

Welcome to the Forum Stephen.

I also think highly of the 806. A few strokes on the Sharpmaker and the thing cuts as M4 is advertised to do. First glance in the hand the knife looks really big, but compare it to the 710 and it's actually about the same size.

Hope you enjoy yours and stick around!

Scored a shiny new 806SBK-901 today, it was a gift from my girlfriend, I guess I'll have to keep her! She also picked up four blue annodized titanium knife stands, I wonder what I did right recently?

Get her some flowers.

Yes, they're a stupid waste of money but they tend to make women happy and that is worth the money.

Yeah, she's a keeper for sure... She supports all my hobbies, I think Dr. Phil calls her an "enabler"... heh

Rezarf: She grabed the last four at my local BM dealer.
