I used my 800 last night to cut up veggies and the balance is incredible. The jimping works as well as any other knife I've handled...and for tip control the lightness of the handle/scales makes for efficient cutting.

...nice to talk knives instead of the other crud life throws at us...! Wink

Congrats on the great finds, the AFCK line of benchmades are among my favorite and most carried from my collection. I have been carrying my 806sbk-901 for the past 7 days now, you will love it.

I just got an 806-901 and I love the looks and feel of the knife. The weight isn't an issue for me, but I like bigger heavier knives. I just wished they would still produce the afck.

You'll be waiting for a looooooong time. A mini-AFCK Axis is my dream knife, even if it only had 440C steel, but it just won't happen. Lots of folks have asked for it and the response has been silence or a resounding "No."

I cant get away from my passion for AFCK's & TSEK's small or large. What a great thing it would be for a "retro" run of these - just like original - not Gold Class but same as before.. I wish - I wish - I wish.....

I agree and would buy one in a heartbeat as long as it was not a gold class variation. (I dont care for the extra flare and bling on a knife) A retro run of the original 800 AFCK would be the bees knees..
