So they had a lefty 800 also? I thought only the 812 had a lefty version.

Dang, now I want one of those, too!

I have carried an 806 AFCK since 2003 (when I put up my 970) and it has been sent to Benchmade for a "tune up" after much use.

I also recently purchased another one from a member here that was too nice to carry and it resides in my safe to give to my children (see my post in the good buys forum).

I also have 2 NIB 800s, and a NIB condition(except no box) 804 put aside for my kids in the safe.

I have a slightly used 800 that I could carry if I didn't have the 710 I am currently using.

I love the AFCK design.

Morning...the 800 series are fine knives. I'd put that 'slightly used' one in your pocket in partnership with the 710...and would be lucky to have more than one! With the tip slightly up and waighted as it is the 800 makes for a great utility/kitchen slicer.

I agree Joe, the 800s are nice knives, especially weight-wise. I could carry it along with my 710, but generally carry only one knife on my person as most times I am in the woods or outdoors, and it makes it easier to keep up with them. If in a "dangerous area", and I feel the need for an additional weapon, a snubbie .38 or a Glock fits the bill.
